Medici Capitoline Aphrodite Statue is composed of alabaster dust mixed with a durable binding compound, each detail is finished with care by the artisans of Italy's Egregia Workshop. Mounted on a solid alabaster base. This Sculpture is derive from the idea first exploited by Praxitiles in the Aphrodite of Knidos, but in a more compact and distinctive sculpting style. This wonderful reproduction was created by A. Giannelli who was a master sculptor who could reproduce any Master work of art in sculpture. He was world renowned for his meticulous reproductions of these art sculptures. This sculpture is also know as Aphrodite Capitoline, Venus de Medici.
